An Interview with JD Easy

I just added an audio interview to my website that I recorded yesterday with JD Easy. He gives a LOT of detail of what makes him successful in FE sales. This is as raw as it gets. Don't expect a Steven Spielberg production here but I think there is some interesting info.

The file was too large so I had to cut it in half. The first half is available to listen to now. The 2nd half should be on there later this weekend. Let me know what you think.

Scott, did you record the phone call with a separate device or is the recording interface part of your website?

This is a bit more than I expected and I'm a bit embarassed by this thing. I didn't know that Scott was going worldwide with it.

He had mentioned something to me a while back about doing a small training audio for his website and I said I would. Thursday I was working a bit north of Newby's Evansville office and on my way home I remembered that I needed an envelope for 5 Star and called and asked Scott if he had some. He said he did and would meet me at the office.

I called my wife to tell her I was on my way home and that I needed to stop and get something from Scott. She said, "you'll be there all night!". I assured her that I wouldn't because I needed to get home.

After getting there and talking shop a bit Scott asked again about that audio thing and said it would just take a few miutes so I agreed. I sent my wife a text saying I was running a bit behind and then I called her and told her I was going to do this interview. She said she was grilling pork chops and should ready when I got in, {I'm about 45 minutes from Newby's office to home}.

Needless to say this interview rambled on for quite sometime. It's not really so much a training audio as it is two longtime FE agents shooting the wind. It's a similar conversation that I would have with just about any agent that's been doing this a while as other agents are the only ones that will believe our stories.

Of course my wife was not pleased with the extra "few minutes" especially since she had called it in the beginning. Newby's wife came by the office looking for him because he wasn't answering his phone because we were doing the interview. So, both of us got in hot water over this thing.

It's no different that what most of you that have spoken to me on the phone have already heard.

I hope it's of value to Newby and to anyone else. It's not me telling anyone how to do FE. It's me telling how I do FE.
