Anybody Use Phoenix Life for Diabetics?

They seem to be good even with someone on insulin, as long as you weren't diagnosed before age 30, non-smoker, within height and weight chart and no other complications. They're way better priced than UHL or Trans Premier rates for insulin, which are Standard.
 
That's what it looks like on paper.

They are very strict with diabetics and if they've been prescribed anything pain pills, hbp meds cholesterol meds etc they may get declined all together.

Their agent manual isn't the real underwriting guidelines they use.

And if you have a smoker with an insulin controlled diabetic they are already placing them at a table 6 rating.

Also, if your client has ever had a heart attack, stroke, TIA, bypass, pacemaker , stent etc, automatic decline

I don't know why they just don't ask these questions on the application.

Only other company I know who does this is LBL
