Your thread topic wording suggests otherwise. If you didn't intend it that way, my apologies. No offices have been closed and no evidence of staff reductions yet other than those who may have taken advantage of the early retirement offer.
My experience over the years has been varied. Those T65 and enrolling online rarely have an issue, but it still takes them 6-8 weeks to get their card. For those who are required to submit additional info, it has always been a crapshoot. Each local office seem to have their own rules. Talked to a client recently who was told her local office wasn't meeting in person, but she could make an appointment for a phone call.
Things really changed with Covid and have never returned to "normal".
