Anyone generate their own Facebook leads?

If so, what do you sell, and what's the average cost per lead? I'm looking to advertise in ACA and Medicare telesales, and would like to generate 15-20 inbound calls per day.

And please don't try to sell me leads. 99% of leads companies are really shady, and they are one of the reasons why the call center I worked for shut down.

15 to 20 inbound per day? You'll need multi States and a nice ad spend.

15 a day for $400 a week ? Lol . Those will be “ want free ins “ . I’m hearing Facebook lead costs way up as competition fierce.

Hired a company to generate FB leads. They created a FB ad and did a very good job of posting new articles every day. Few leads so I canceled after 3 months.

Spent $800 on lead generating program from Brandon at AutoPilot who is Hoosier Life on this forum. There were like about 51 video courses I was supposed to go through. After around 31 courses, I still had not learned how to create an effective ad on FB so I canceled. Contract said If I canceled after 14 days they would use the $800 to generate leads.

This was in Sept, 2021. Haven't received a single lead as of today (Feb 20, 2022). Their email said it is difficult to generate leads on FB in the Los Angeles area.

Next I contacted FB and worked with their marketing specialist. We developed 2 advertisements during the AEP period on a Medicare Advantage plan with a $125 a month Give Back theme in the Los Angeles area. It did generate leads but they were awful.

Most said they did not request information. Most were people with foreign names (Russian, Middle East, etc.). It was near impossible to contact them by phone although I did do a drip email campaign with them but received no replies. I ran the ads for 2 months and spent $942 but felt the money was better spent on other forms of advertising.

Humana had 2 programs during aep for a few agents they selected . 1 was like the Facebook leads you mentioned . I was getting 4-5 a day . Many were disconnected #’s and 95% had no clue what I was talking about . Tells me they were crazy vague prefilled ones . The other program they used a interactive bot to direct transfer you to someone who wanted info . 75 % were general questions about part b giveback or they wanted to find out how to apply for part a or b . But I closed 6-7 who were looking for something or to switch . But every transfer knew it was about Medicare . I think 2 things are going on . I think with the constant hype on social media of how much money in ins it’s attracted a ton of new agents . Also a ton of agents have diverted from fe and life ins to Medicare and aca . This huge influx is advertising like crazy with FB and direct mail causing huge saturation .

Wonder why they did not tell you you were in a tough area for their program to work Before they took your $800?
