Anyone Here Closed A Deaf Person Before?

I've done a number of MA presentations in American Sign Language. Rarely needed to write anything down.

But it's been a few years so I know it would be more difficult now.

Closed my second one yesterday -- wrote out the entire presentation by hand and walked away with a $575AP policy.

I've had a few. Mine were all very good at reading lips.

I think I've told this story before on one of them I had my Dragon software on my iPhone that types as you speak. I turned it on so he could read along as well as read my lips. It was in Owensboro, KY and every time I said Owensboro it typed "I like girls". Everything else it typed the right words pretty accurate.

I handled a death claim on a Foresters certificate with a deaf beneficiary one time. Not a pleasant experience.

I did years ago and they were done at a local Association for the Deaf. Just had them meet me there. First one I also sold the guy running the place. They were happy to help.
