Appointment with Company with a Not Guilty Crimal Charge

This thread unfortunately brought up some bad memories.

I had an ex girlfriend who done me real bad a while ago. I had a hard time handling the situation and only the Lord can judge me for what happened.

Over the years, the only way I found to get over the hurt was to say a little prayer ever day for her and keep telling myself :

"Dear Lord, you and I both know SHE'S IN A BETTER PLACE now"

No. She is my ex wife now. We had agreed to separate -her idea by the way- and she told me I was not allowed in the bedroom. I slept on the couch while we tried to sell our house. One day I decided to sleep in the bed. I did however pay the mortgage and bought the bed. She decided I was out of line and punched me several times giving me a small black eye. She fractured her pinky in the process and charged me. I am actually am not sure if she broke it on my head or my hand as I was blocking her punches.I am a good guy and would never hurt a woman. in retrospect, I should have known better than to argue over the bed- knowing her temper. This was not the first time she hit me.

Wow! Isn't love great! :swoon:

Any insurance company is going to question anything that comes up on your background check except for speeding tickets. All they want is an explanation as to what happened and confirmation that everything is resolved. It should not prevent you from becoming appointed with the company especially if you were found "not guilty."

Ehannigan. Do u have experience with this?

In my honest opinion as long as it doesnt show up as a felony, they probably just want an explanation because it is required for them to put an explanation on the application for any type of charges whether felony, misdemeanor, etc. Which company is it? I also am guessing that personal credit shouldn't interfere with appointments either. I believe credit only hinders appointment when the companies credit is at stake.

More than half the agents out there probably have some sort of background incident. People make mistakes so I am pretty sure you will receive a letter of acceptance!

Personal credit can play a role in whether or not you'll get advanced or if your upline has to sign a guaranty agreement.

I've worked with agents with shadier pasts than yours, u18274 - don't worry. They just want to have complete documentation.

Nick,

Are you a member of ILIAA and/or on "staff"? I thought that was Rick's puppy.
