I just got appointed with Assurant in CA - 1% com. Sad, but better than 0. It was client driven thanks to contract negotiation between BShield and Sutter Health. Not only do I have to get com reduction, but also had to pay $26 to get appointed. lol.

I am curious what com rate was Assurant paying in 2014 for major health?

Not much better in 2014 to speakof.

It wasn't that long ago, however, that Assurant was paying 25% first year and an average of 8% renewals. My, how things have changed.
