ATT Cancels Retiree Health Plan

Are they allowed any Part D plan? Or only AON approved plans? I have a client right now waiting on their call (what a crock) and they have a specific Part D plan they need.

In my neck of the woods, zip 95926, AON allows 20 plans of the 31.

Oh that's lovely....Is the Humana Walmart plan on there? These people live in the sticks. The only pharmacy for 30 miles is walmart, so obviously that's a better fit for then.

I did see the Humana Walmart plan as one of the 20,
3 Humana
3 Anthem
2 Express Scripts
2 Aetna
2 UHC
2 BS of Ca
2 Coventry FH
2 SilverScript
2Wellcare

here's a link that shows the plans being offered by AON it lists the pdp's, med supps and MAPD plans. You don't need a user name or password, just enter your zip

https://www.aonhewittnavigators.com/home.aspx

they're not showing Cigna at all which has been a pretty popular plan for 2015 from what I can tell with $0 rx deductible and $1 or $4 copays on generics at preferred pharmacies

some of the premiums seem off on the Med supps, they are higher in some cases. Don't take my word, look at your own zip codes and rates and compare to the site. Some are correct but others are higher

I've been to this website 3 or 4 different times over the last couple months and have seen different results for my area each time. For example, Omaha wasn't listed the first time I checked it out, last month it showed their plans, but today it doesn't. Wonder why that is. Do you get different choices/results once a retiree actually logs in?

Just ran numbers for a 66 yr male, 31709.

Two MAPD plans, 18 PDP, 18 Medigap.

Pitiful.

Lowest premium plan F was $152; there are 9 carriers with lower rates with best rate of $141 (for a mature carrier).

Lowest premium plan N was $122; there are 15 carriers less with best coming in at $89

They only show 3 carriers and 5 plans. You won't find plan G anywhere.

So pathetic.

Maybe their internal quoting tool is messed up, maybe their rates are lower and their qt tool is their problem. I have seen the same thing... At this point my agents are enroll ing them for the supplement and letting Aon handle part d.

I agree, it is a tragedy for these retirees. One of my clients was a senior Vice President at AT&T for 28 years and she is just amazed at poorly Aon is handling this.
