Attacking the Root of the Problem

We had inflation in the 80's and I expect we'll have a lot in our near future as well, except this time, the world is a different place. Our businesses won't be able to just raise their prices and adjust wages on the next go around, that pain will be felt every time someone goes to the grocery store or to fill up at the pump. If you think times are tough now, wait until you see where we are headed.

Boy are you ever spot on.

For some very interesting further info on these trends, pick up Ron Paul's book End the Fed. Very eye opening!

The government will fund more and more medical education expenses in the name of creating more doctors and then forgive more of the loans based on public service.

You can't push a button and get instant docs. It takes years, just like those "jobs" programs Obaba is bringing to places like FL (rapid rail line). You can crank out PA's (physicians assistants) in less than 2 years but full docs and specialists are a 10 yr trek.

That is assuming that we are not going to just dial 1-800-Pakistan as the Brits did and have them start sending their graduates of Jihad University Medical School by the pantload. Not to forget the Caribbean grads.

Also, a couple years ago I read an article about the large number of Cuban doctors who were working after hours as prostitutes to compensate for their low pay. Probably some of them would like to come to the U.S.
Or maybe Paraguay has some.

Change you can believe in.

More Doc-in-the-Box's. We no longer see our primary - haven't in a few years. We hit the CVS doc-in-the-box or Nighttime Pediatrics.

I don't need to wait 90 minutes to see someone with 6 years of medical training to tell me my son has an ear infection. Not everything is an episode of House.

I also enjoy the price disclosure... not having to wait for my EOB to find out what I'm being charged.

This type of free market solution is much more effective than even more government interference and regulation despite the fact that they think they know better.
