Avoid Norvax/Prospect Zone

I purchased leads through this company and got ripped off. I want to let everyone know and tell you to avoid this company.

I talked to the rep and he explained how someone goes on their site to request a rate for insurance and the lead is immediately emailed to an agent or agents. He told me I had two options...

I could pay $15 per lead and they would be emailed to me and two other agents, so we would have to compete with each other for the prospect's business. Option 2 was pay $23 per lead and they would only be emailed to me. I would be the exclusive recipient of the lead. I chose option 2 because I spend a lot of time in rural areas and can't check email on my phone due to lack of service, so I could call the prospects later in the day when I was back in civilization.

After a few days I began getting leads and I would call them as soon as I could and every single one would tell me they already talked to someone or they weren't interested, or they had an appointment with someone else.

Norvax said they weren't sharing my leads with anyone else.

Norvax was lying.

Another agent in the same office I was working at was signed up with them. He was receiving the same exact leads as I was, and he didn't work rural areas, he only worked in town. So he was getting the emails immediately and contacting clients before I did.

I'll never use Norvax again. They owe me $230.

Many people on this Forum have stated how horrible Prospect Zone leads are.

Re Norvax...I would never buy their leads, but the rest of the company is fine. Unless, I ever find out they are manipulating the leads that I generate myself.

I don't want to disparage an innocent company here....

The company was Prospect Zone, but the guys signature on the email he sent me said "Norvax//Prospect Zone" so I guess they are affiliated in some way.

Norvax does indeed own Prospect Zone.

Well then they both suck. I paid extra for "exclusive leads" that weren't so exclusive. No telling how many people have been ripped off by these people in the same way. The only way I found out is by pure luck. Only because I happen to work in an office with another guy receiving the same leads.

What are the chances....

Norvax is commonly the reference to the side of their company that provides a quote engine and CRM database, while prospect zone is the lead side.

The broker office and quote engine are good. The leads are... well.. you already saw what the leads are.

As I mentioned, PZ leads are terrible. The Norvax "system" (not leads), along with Quotit, is one of the most popular of its kind in the US.

Disclaimer-I am not compensated in any way, shape or form from Norvax other than occasional cash, trips, prizes, food, transfer of property, free stay at Joe Stephens' mansion and electronic equipment.

It's a consesus that all lead vendors suck.....Somehow one of them will give you a ROI so you have to put up with their ****....I, like you, pulled a fast one where I saw that they were blatantly screwing me over but what can I do......

FYI- the CEO of a lead vendor is calling me on Monday---lets see how that goes.

I'm curious, since you caught them doing this, what explanation did they give you when you had proof they were sending your "exclusive" lead to another agent?

They couldn't give you the typical line that the person must have went to another lead vendor's quote site since the lead came from them.

Also if you have not already done this, it would seem to me that you could go to credit card company and dispute the charges since you have proof you were paying for "exclusive" leads that was being sold to another agent.
