Happy New Year, everybody! I must have my traditional tamales for New Years breakfast. But this year I gave it a keto influenced twist: Bacon wrapped pork tamales with eggs (fried in bacon grease, of course)!

I've eaten my steak rare ever since I was a kid. My daddy ate it like that, and my daddy's daddy ate it like that ...
... unfortunately they both also ate carbs and sugar their whole lives which is why my daddy is dying of autoimmune diseases and his daddy died of congestive heart failure as a result of complications from diabetes.
Moral: I don't care how you like your steak - Just eat it, and leave the sugar alone!

I thought I didn't like steak because my mom always made it well done. When I took my wife out for steak when we were first dating, I ordered it well done. She looked at me like I just ordered a plate of dog poop! Since that day I've learned the joy of a choice cut grilled medium rare. Turns out I really like steak!
Could be it was the rare steak.. They ahd that in common..
