BACON IS FOR CLOSERS...

Speaking of which... got on the mill to do some cardio this evening. I have that tiered good feeling. I will sleep well.

Quick question here by the way... for all you keto folks, do you experience acid on your stomach in the evenings?

The crazy thing is I get it much less after being keto for a couple of months even when I do spicy foods Id a lot of tobasco and spicy dry rub on chicken, I got Italian sausage from Costco only 1 gram carb per sausage And I only got the acid reflux feeling once in the last 2 months

I get more acid reflux when a I'm NOT on keto. But I've also discovered I nearly always react to onions and/or garlic. I made my famous chicken street tacos for Cinco dinner tonight. My recipe includes (among other things) garlic and plenty of onions, both grilled and fresh chopped. I may die from it later, but I'll die happy! (BTW, only about 10 grams of carbs per corn tortilla, so not that bad for a cheat meal!)

You all should start a new thread, something like:

so neophytes would know what brand(s) to look for when they go to the store.

I haven't noticed anything different in any way. I'm thinking maybe it's because I've done keto in the past.

The thing is, all bacon is awesome! Makes being a bacon connoisseur a little tough when you can find no fault with any of it! However, I prefer the uncured variety, because nitrites give me a headache. As far as brands go, I like the Hormel thick sliced uncured. Walmart sells it for about $5.50 for a 1lb package.
