BACON IS FOR CLOSERS...

I have to say, when this thread started, it did motivate me to change my unhealthy ways. I'm still in the gym 4-5 days per week, riding on our Peleton bike each day before going. So it's like 2 workouts per day...

The cholesterol levels never did drop to normal "until I started taking the statin".
Body fat is very low though, and muscle mass is about where it was at 10 years ago, "before I hurt my back and stopped gyming it"!

Not bad for a 52 year old.... Go Dolphins!

Try to get out there and run 15 appts a day like 5 yrs ago . I assure you it's a lot different at age 52 and you'd be miserable . Thus is why most fe guys get into recruiting as pounding pavement is not sustainable yr after yr .

You have to bike... and eat the bacon. Can't do it without the bacon.

But great job, you're looking good.

Speaking of bacon and heirloom tomatoes...years ago when I was trading futures I remember a guru stating that pork belly futures always would rise going into August due to the demand for bacon because the tomatoes were ripening...and everyone was having their BLTs. Me personally, I'm a Hellman's light mayo guy...

I was deep diving the cholesterol thing and come to find out it's only a theory, The Lipid Hypothesis. I'd never advise anyone on how to manage their health, but I certainly have acquired enough information over the years to conclude that traditional medicine and accepted medical dogma is not to be fully trusted.

Agreed.

My levels were above 300/Dangerously High... and I totally trust my doctor. He's one of those rare physicians that actually cares about helping people and believes in doing the right thing!

When his hospital pressured him to sign off on one of his patients as a "covid" death, he told them to F Off... because the client didn't die of covid... he did contract it while they were expecting him to pass!
