Bad Night for Mr. Obama

Re: Bad Night for President Obama

Other philosophical questions to ponder: Just suppose we have a state that is completely broke and flat on its ass as far as even keeping up current bills due to the preponderence of loon voters. I dont want to pick on anyone, so lets just call it Kalifornia.

Now along comes Obamacare which proposes to substantially increase health coverage through the expansion of Medicaid. One might wonder where a hypothetical state such as Kalifornia would come up with the state matching funds for it. Certainly it could not come from the feds because (aside from the fact that the feds R us because they have no money of their own) the proposed reform bill will not increase the national debt by a dime or else President Obama will not sign it. Good thing we dont have any states that are as bad off as Kalifornia and probably have a rainy day fund of something they could dip into.

It will cause a burden here in Tennessee our Dem. Gov. is against it and our Dem Reps said they wouldn't vote for it.

"No" votes in the House from TN are Davis, Gordon and Tanner.

Going to be politicial suicide for any reps or Senators who vote for some of these bills if they are in states that voted for McCain. I dont know all the local politics but I would be astonished if any of the voters on those states have suddenly warmed up to Obamanomics,

I think arkansas has a dem woman senator who is against the whole enchilada too. Any mary landrau is dem and against it. and so on. Lieberman is against it, and he is sorta dem.

Politics affects our future. That's why we speculate about it so much.

A lot of politics experts on these boards. lol

What a waste of energy.

Sometimes (but not always) health insurance reform is being discussed in the Health Insurance Reform Forum. The title of the forum gives reasonable notice to those such as yourself who are just looking for advice on how to work your NAA leads. I have no interest whatsoever in Auto Insurance, thus I do not go to that forum. But that is just me.
