Bankers Life Policy

I ran into a potential customer with a Bankers Life quoted rate without the policy yet delivered. The rate was 48.3/M for 5k on a 65 year old male. That might be right, but the guy is a smoker with COPD. Matter of fact, he has had COPD for a while. He doesn't take or need Oxygen, but just the usual inhaler when needed.

So, was this a clean sheet? I keep running into these deals a lot. I will just have to wait until he gets his policy, which I told him I will go over it with him. I am looking at TransAmerica FE immediate standard smoker.

I used to work at Bankers, still have some of their old apps. I looked at it for you. This was not clean sheeted. It is however, what they call their 29J, which is a graded beneift, ROP premium for first two years.

It does however sound like he qualifies for only $10 more a month Mon Life STD smoker rating

Or Columbian or Assurity preferred...

+1 and Thanks.

The client never said anything about ROP. I guess he wasn't told about it or it slipped his mind. It could be both!:twitchy::goofy:

Speaking of Bankers, just ran into a guy whos 79, NT whos meeting with his BL rep in the next few days to replace a policy hes borrowed against. Most likely he will be getting a 5k policy....does anyone have their rates for a 79yr old male? 3, 5, 7.5 & 10k perhaps?

Thx

Re: Bankers: I just got off a call where the person said that she recently bought a $20,000 Wl policy on her 31 yr old Smoker son. At $24.10 mo. Does this look correct to you?

Thanks,

Lee
