MANY years ago, Penn was a powerhouse. They reached the Final Four and won the Ivy League title almost every year. In fact, you could count on Penn or Princeton getting in the NCAA Tournament every time.

But...good coaches leave (like Chuck Daley), city athletes started to go to Villanova and other schools and the program just never could match what it once was. Of course, academic standards keep a lot of players away from Penn and the other Ivy league schools.

"Value", like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.

What is "value" to you can be age-old crap that many of us have seen for many years.

I dare say that neither one of us is qualified to be the arbiter of "value".
