Let's start with current age

Age of onset

A1c is below 7.0 but what were previous readings

Any complications

Any other meds. Being taken

Height and weight

Any tobacco usage


These are just a few pieces to the puzzle that are needed

Currently talking a client that has diabetes. I haven't dealt with one before and don't know which companies are good. From what I see in this forum and the questionnaire, a1c above 7 isn't good. Employer currently offers $50k term with employment. Is it worth looking for companies now and advise the prospect lower his a1c? Here's his stats.

25 yrs old
diaganosed at 14
a1c is at 10.9. not controlled.
takes metformin. 1000 mg twice a day
checks sugars twice a day with his own meter.
last doctors apt was 11/28/18
no complications
5'8 200 lbs.
doesn't smoke
