Best companies to buy leads from

Can anyone suggest a good company to buy P&C leads from? We have tried netquote and quotesauction and it seems like they sell the leads to alot of agents.
I am looking for a good company that won't charge alot

Hometown Quotes was started by Allstate agents. P&C agents I know seem to like them.

Expensive is a relative term.

$3 leads that don't produce results are expensive.

$10 leads that do produce results can be a worthwhile investment.

I don't write P&C but I know P&C agents who have used them and they seem to like them.

Hometown Quotes is good from what I've heard. One of my P&C guys use them

Never heard of hometown quotes. I'm sure a test month of free leads would give me a good idea of their quality.

I tried them about a year ago or so. And true to his word, Hunter did offer a free package before I signed up.

I thought they were "OK" as a lead provider. Not the best, and not the worst. I just liked the two or three companies that I was using better than Hometown. I also wasn't crazy about the EHealth affiliation.

But...in fairness, when it comes to health insurance lead companies, you need to "retool" every year and see which company is best for you. Maybe Hometown has moved up a few notches.
