Best companies to buy leads from

Can anyone suggest a good company to buy P&C leads from? We have tried netquote and quotesauction and it seems like they sell the leads to alot of agents.
I am looking for a good company that won't charge alot

I work for QuoteWizard. We have very fair prices for our P & C leads and they are sold to a maximum of four agents, but never to an agent from the same company.

Please let me know if anyone on this thread would like some more information.

How many established business owners really go google searching for cheap insurance? Not many.
Apparently you are unfamiliar with Keyword Research tools that tell you just how many people actually do search for business insurance and insurance online.

If you were - you'd know that the US based searches on google alone per month for the terms:

Here's Google / MSN and Yahoo combined - I could break it down between all of them - But I havent the time today.

Business Insurance: 32,378 "Daily" Searches

Auto Insurance Quotes : 309, 455 D-A-I-L-Y Searches

Commercial Insurance : 14,481 - daily

General Liability Insurance : 2,322

Business Liability Insurance : 1,928

Commercial Vehicle Insurance : 1,303

Tele-marketed leads arent a whole lot better in terms of quality of prospect - 2 words .... "price shopper"

Compared to some of you guys ... generating my own leads via the captive agent secret formula - means my "leads" cost is peanuts - most literally !!! Ok Pralines ... I just send em these and they send me leads ... Pre Filtered - ready to buy and desperate.

Best part is ...

By the time the captive agent has fiddled around and run out of options, and the buyer hasnt either given up or found it elsewhere - theyre a desperate buyer .... nearly begging me to sell em something.

I use Agentinsider, Insureme, and Netquote

Close Ratio's

Agentinsider: 34% Drawbacks: none

Insureme: 31% Drawbacks:have issues crediting bogus leads

Netquote: 26% Drawback: too many bogus leads

These numbers are average numbers since october 2007 until present

I have also tried Zipsearch and had some success but didn't like the semi-annual fixed plan rather than the pay-per-lead that the other companies offer.

AgentInsider is my best due to high close ratios, easy to read leads, not too many bogus leads, easy to use web page, good customer service and billing statements.

But more important than the quality of leads, is your quote process. You must have a very effecient process when dealing with internet leads in order to beat the competition.

Do any online leads really work? I just can't commit to trying something that may be sold to several different agents! I have in the past had success with med supp leads but never with the few life leads I purchased.

I have had a great deal of success for internet leads for P&C, I thought that it would translate to life leads and boy was I wrong. But then again I'm a P&C guy.

Sidenote, I would be very weary of companies that requrie a big investment up front, if you stick with the pay-per-leads you should be okay.

it really comes down to execution. If your thinking of taking a passive role with this leads then ide advise you to stay away, but if your active and have a detailed follow up process, requote process, etc then go for it. Cold calling for P&C is just toooooo time consuming and labor intensive.

P&C...FANTASTIC close ratios. Is that typical?

I don't know if its typical, nor if there is even a typical. It's all relative if you ask me. I know some agents closing 5% with the same lead companies that I use, and others closing 30% like I am. First of all, you need to have a good flow of leads, I get 5 leads a day and turn my lead volume off on weekends so im getting about 100 leads a month.

keep in kind not to buy Auto & Homeowners, just buy one and cross sell for the other lines.

basicly if you work them right, and have a detailed, meticulous, and defined strategy then I dont see why you shouldnt have a decent close ratio that will render you a good ROI

Hometown quotes has been working well for me. 5 leads so far in the last two weeks. I get the homewoners quotes, then cross sell the auto. I even got someone who I am quoting a small commercial account. I have three quotes out there, I will let you know how they go.

you have to continously buy leads over a period of time in order to get the data that you need. You can not base your results off of just a few leads.

I started buying auto and home leads 3 months ago. The first month I bought around 50 leads and sold 10. I thought that this was the greatest thing in the world. But since then, it went from 20% selling to 5%. I am still hanging there and I feel confident that I will make this successful. I have found out that you may not write them now, but having a good follow up system gets a lot more sales. I have my associate agent calling everyday. Sometimes it takes her 3-8 attempts to contact over a 2 week period just to get them on the phone. But when you actually talk to them, you odds of selling increases 50%.

I want to use this forum to get information on ideas and lead companies. I currently use Allweb leads. They are ok, but I want to use several different companies in order to get the best results.

If you hang around long enough you will find something negative to be said about almost every lead vendor . . . and most of it is 100% accurate.

The one thing that most seem to agree on is this. At least with regard to health leads, the quality has declined precipitously over the last 4 - 6 months. In addition, many of the lead vendors have been caught with their pants down. It seems almost incestuous that they are selling leads to the competition in droves.

After all. Why should they care about the agent? They are in the business to sell leads and it really doesn't matter if they sell to competitors or not. (At least, not to them). Money is money.

And what about the recent discovery that one vendor is hyping sites for vision care and then selling them as health leads. On more than one occasion I have encountered lead vendors (or their affiliates) hosting Medicare & SCHIP sites and then selling them as "qualified" health leads.

Fact is, they are all whores and not an honest one in the bunch.

Have anyone in this forum used Beacon Marketing group?
If yes can you please share the results.
