Proactive or reactive, you are still recruiting. Your statements on recruiting not long ago was that you did not recruit on the forums any longer..You didn't say anything about "looking". Have no idea how often I am on here.. I check in several times per day..Have no reason to lie about production. Have always made it plain that I am not a big producer, especially since I have another "full time" job that occupies more of my time than selling insurance. and a part time activity that generates some income (even though I haven't done anything with that in the last three months) and am now spending more time with my three yer old daughter. I think, considering the fact I am 74 years old, I do fairly well. I certainly have been blessed.. A lot of my friends are no longer here and others are not able to get out and around.I'm not LOOKING for recruits up here. I'm RESPONDING to recruits up here looking for an opportunity.
The first method is proactive, second is reactive.
Ex.: Ms. Jones going to her phone book looking for burial insurance is PROACTIVE.
Ms. Jones responding to a DM card in the mail is REACTIVE.
How many hours per day are you up here? If you truly wrote $6800 last month, considering all the hours you're up here, I'd say 'good job". If you spent as much time working leads as you do up here posting, you'd be a $20k/month production machine.
OH! and, I seldom buy leads. Did make an order to Peak Leads yesterday for 20 telemarketing leads since Buddy was giving a $50 discount.. This will be my third order from him this year and I haven't bought any other leads. So that is 60 leads this year.. Most sales are from self generated leads from working current clients (they are getting fewer) referrals and canvassing.
