Best Income Annuity with 13 Years of Defferal

I think your careful analysis of different products in a sit-down with your client does you credit.

I keep getting offers of 12% commissions for pushing a particular product. Obviously that would not even be in the ballpark if someone is really looking out for the client's interests.

The guy is still young. When does he want to start taking the money? If the answer not for 7-10 years, then do not write long products. Stick with 5 or 7 year products and then roll the money to new products at that time with income benefit riders. The Master Dex X is ok, but they use simple interest to calculate the benefit rider while everyone else does compound interest.

Forethought is crap unless you decide to take the income after the first year only. It is not approved in all states.

Also, some of the carriers are set up for the Income benefit riders and not for potential gains. Lower caps and lower min. guarantees.
