Best Low Cost Leads

FE and Med Supps are two different markets. You will have a few cross-sells, but don't count on all of your clients buying both products. Pick one and go with it. I've focused on both products in my career and had less than 15% cross-selling to the other product. Very different clientele between the two.

Sorry to hear that, but if you would have focused in on MA Plans as well, you would have sold more FE. If it's worked correctly, you should do all 3, Med Supps, MA's, and FE. IMHO.

I have the money to buy leads from Lead Connections, but worry since I am such a newbie, they will be wasted because of my lack of experience. I don't want to pay that much for them, and then not be able to sell anything due to my lack of experience.

I believe you are think of Lead Connections for Direct Mail.. Everybody seems to be singing Chris' praises and I have even had a couple of companies recommend them..

Sounds like a catch-22. :1baffled: What state are you located? Agedleadstore will help you get your feet wet, so to speak. Their minimum order is $29.00. You will find 1/3 are no good and 1/3 are talkers, but you will get practice. Call some, do drive-bys on some. I recommend the the ones just over 30 days old. They have either bought already or still thinkin' about it:D. But other agents have worked them and until they (the agents) have probably moved on. Most of this business is follow-up. You will probably make a sale or two off 50 names. You can re-invest that money in your mail outs - if that makes you more comfortable. Call Troy 888-238-9283 and see what he has for you in your area.

In reality, nothing you do is going to give you experience except doing it. By that, I mean writing business, door knocking, calling, etc. Most likely you will find this to be "sink or swim" after about 3 days. But you will find a style that suits you quickly, and that is just for setting appointments. That's easy  Then all you have to do is sell em!:1arghh:

If you were near my area, I would contract you and let you work my leads. Maybe you can find an agent to team up with to get experience and a decent contract with some leads.

Otherwise, just go for it and do the mailers. Just be sure to do enough to keep you going long enough to get paid on the sales you make - about 6 weeks from start to finish. In any case,
Good luck!

Least expensive in order:

Door knocking (self)
Calling lists (AffordableMarketingLists.com (me))
Aged internet leads (stellarprospects.com/ agedleadstore.com)
Internet leads (HometownQuotes.com)
Direct mail (Lead Concepts I believe folks are a fan of now)
Telemarketed leads (not aware of a good company for that)

What are the average returns on calling lists?
