Why would you want to do something so evil? You're not an evil person are you? Agents are paying $34 per TV lead. Do you really want to cause that kind of harm to other agents? This action doesn't hurt anyone except the agents. You're kidding right?

As a side note you'll get only one agent calling you when you call the TV commercial. Call it twice and 2 agents will call you, when you say someone already called you the lead dept. will replace the lead with another one for that 2nd agent. Keeping leads exclusive to one agent.

Just take that 90 sec. of time and call your next lead instead of a TV commercial. You actually will make more $$$ doing that.

You were kidding right? You don't really want to harm agents do you?

You are right, it would be wrong to have a agent pay for a lead that is not really a good lead. This has happened to be but I just roll my eyes and move on.

In 2015-16, I called a senior life commerical. I had multiple.agents call me. I also received 3 applications in mail. One agent, I told him he was the 3 or 4th guy to call and he asked me if the application had a number on the top. I am assuming he meant a writing number.

Maybe Senior Life has changed and they no longer do this. Maybe the original agent gave his leads to someone as B Leads. I dont know. But what I am 100% sure of is the last guy to call me was not a happy that I told him it was a few months ago when I called. I apologized and said sorry for the lead I cost you. I am.an agent too. I was just curious how your leads worked ect. That's when he asked about the number on the app and when I recieved it.

Let me ask you Greg, has something like this ever happened to you? Do you guys mail an app if you can't get the lead on the phone?

I've never mailed an app to a person who I couldn't reach on the phone. I wouldn't know whether to mail them a super-preferred, preferred, standard, etc. application. Besides, I'd need a recorded voice signature or a witnessed handwritten signature.

You were probably called several times even though you called the TV commercial just once because those agents could not or would not buy fresh exclusive leads. So their mgr tried to help them out by giving them old recycled leads to call.

Recycled leads are what broke, or agents with no confidence, resort to. Sure the ROI can be good BUT what is the ROI per hour? Fresh exclusive leads yield a way better ROI per hour. Working old recycled leads is similiar to calling page after page in a phone book. The prospects are free, and that's great, but you'll find that you could make the same coin working at McDonald's. Your profit per hour is the true metric.

I do know that back around that time we were drowning in TV leads. Sometimes I'd get 100+ leads as well as several other mgr's. No time to recruit as we couldn't keep up with the leads being generated on TV. Our agents would get the fresh leads and the mgr's would work leads that would get older because no one had time to work them. That's one way we protect our agents on our teams.

Maybe the number on the application was something from the home office. I don't know.

So Greg, you say this to Noah... "Noah, we're adults up here having conversations, debates, and disagreements. But you come off as that spoiled 10 year old brat that keeps interrupting the adults' conversation. It's kinda like you are screaming for some kind of recognition or attention."

Then, in your very next post you write this... "Noah, please go back to your video games and leave us adults alone."

That's very adult of you!! SMH!!

You were probably called several times

...because SL leads are sold and resold.

So their mgr tried to help them out by giving them old recycled leads to call.

So if an SL agent paid $34 for a lead, he doesn't own the lead is what you're saying. SL will sell it to another agent and another.

SL leads are about as "fresh and exclusive" as a 50-year-old porn star.

Those old leads would have been from a terminated agent. They were not sold to another agent, they were given to another agent by the mgr. Now a days those recycled leads are no longer available due to do not call regulations, etc.

By the way, how would you know how "fresh and exclusive" a 50 year old porn star is? Now you're telling on yourself...lol. Please share.
