Beware of Insurance Agents and Insurance Companies

Why I bought these policies?

...Bajaj Capital, ... in India. ...

...they used this opportunity to cheat me instead of helping me. I had not expected this from them.

Jka49,
First off, seriously? Im thinking you're actually a member here that just created another screen name to have some fun. However, on the off chance you're legit, I feel bad for you. It's true, there are agents out there that are dishonest and will try to take advantage of you. Most of those people do not last long though. At least, not in the U.S. Over here there are several laws that affect the insurance and investments industry. I dont know what laws are in India. There are a couple points that have been mentioned that you should consider.

1) Was the investment actually a good idea, but just didn't work out? Most investments are subject to loss. Sometimes it happens. Doesn't necessarily mean Bajaj did anything wrong. Think about this: What would the people you talked to at Bajaj have to gain by your investment losing value? Unless they owned the company you invested in, all they got was their commission. Their commission would have been the same if you had lost everything, or if you made millions. They had nothing to gain by intentially steering you in the wrong direction.

2) As has already been asked, what exactly do you hope to accomplish by posting on this site? Think of what outcome you want, and let us know how we can help. If there's something any of us can do, I'm sure someone will do it. Sounds to me like you just had bad time and chance. Or you're faking this thing just to see what response you get.:skeptical:

Why not send him a check for 13,000,000 rupees? That should make him feel better.

He can them come over to the US and buy a gas station.
