The HHS Thursday froze the former Trump administration’s December drug policy that requires community health centers to pass on all their insulin and epinephrine discount savings to patients.

Centers that don’t pass on the savings wouldn’t qualify for federal grants. The rule, which was finalized in late December, is delayed until March 22, the Department of Health and Human Services said in a Federal Register post.

This freeze is part of the Biden administration’s large-scale effort announced this week that will scrutinize the Trump administration’s health policies

Biden’s HHS Freezes Trump Insulin, Epinephrine Rule Until March

Perhaps the Trump order applied to plans other than Medicare Part D, but how can this clown change programs in mid-stream?

At least Trump's deal didn't go into effect until January 1.

I wonder how much air time this will receive on CNN, MSN, or most other stations?

Then I wonder how it would unfold if Trump had done the same thing If the role were reversed?

"the health centers said they already pass on those savings and this rule is merely an administrative burden that paints them as entities that price-gouge patients."

Keeping them honest is never a bad policy.

If it were the other way around it would be world war three level.

Right but as it is now many might not know what happened if they don't take ins, If they do they are just going to think agent or Trump lied

Few will know

It will appear as Biden is smooth sailing

Such a dif a perception can make in many

If he pulls this off they will know the next time they fill insulin or epinephrine.

Perhaps the pharmacist will explain that elections have consequences

I suspect many have filled insulin in January already . . . $30

How many on here deal with clients who receive their prescriptions from community health centers?

Roughly 25 million people use community health centers out of 325 billion.

This is another Republican spin talking point. Just like Keystone.. 11000 jobs gone.. yet it's actually like 1k temp, 35 permanent.

What tends to be a little meh is these are the people that are bitching about spending and subsidies giving out freebies and a "gimme class" and then when a small rule (that's only being reviewed) that's already happening comes up for a small percentage of people...

The world is crashing.

I will agree, if this was Trump, it would be a spin of Trump is trying to kill people by taking away their insulin. That would be just as bad faith as these are.
