Biden Freezes Trump Insulin & Epinephrine Pricing

In any case, this story isn't ultimately about any changes and is merely about technical paperwork. If anything, it entrenches that current pricing is officially controlled.

Humana’s $35 insulin deal was only for there hmo mapd’s and not there ppo mapd’s . I have no idea how the partD worked

Too many struggle under the cost of this single medication... pull out politics and make it affordable... more and more folks are needing.

The group most likely to have to think about getting meds or paying bills is the insulin group

I will say there is a lot of people getting better and getting off insulin by fasting and eating keto But again that is info a lot of leftist groups, as well as drug companies and other lobbyist, work hard to suppress we see that even more in Europe and Australia

However, that is beside the point many have seen long hoped for relief from the $35 copay

I mean, diet and exercise help get DM2 under control? You don't say...

I promise you "Leftist Groups" are not suppressing the importance of diet and exercise. That's a really silly statement...

Why you didn't say it, what I'm inferring from you comments is that you believe that the Left just wants people to pay out the ass for insulin...

That's just ridiculous and really a bad faith argument.

It's capitalism that jacks up prices. There's a demand, and drug companies are the supply. They set the price.

You either acknowledge that pure capitalism doesn't work when it comes to healthcare and you get called a boogeyman Socialist or you support competition as the driving force and you get what you have.

Sure they are in fact they are much more into it in Europe and Australia than here totally ruined a doctor in Australia over it

It goes against their meat bad vegetable is above all mantra

Just like they have even testing documented in the UN showing that red meat causes cancer but right in the report it shows that the mix they were using was causing pre-cancer sign on all the group vegi white meat red meat groups so they altered the mix to favor the white meat and vegies groups and a more concentrated mix on the red meat group

You have lots of groups involved too, Some from the Global warming groups some from the PETA groups and there are many many more subgroups too

They don't like people eating meat, fats, or anything that goes against the wise libs had predetermined we should eat

They don't like dissenters

I am sure no one said lets make insulin user pay more because we are left

I am sure its more about 1 Trump cant have a win. 2 Discount can only come to special groups, 3 Gifts can only come from them

I am sure there is more to it then that as well but these def play a role

No, it started with protection, They have what 7 years free riegn before gen can come out, and sometimes its extended as well

In fact its anti-capitalism

However, its a double-edged sward because its also why the best meds mostly come from US

I don't know the answer to this one but what we have inst working and going all the other way doesn't work either

So maybe somewhere in the middle?? IDK though

So, the EO was narrow in scope... It wasn't universally everyone paid $35 for insulin. That's just facts.

You have an argument concerning Trump having a really concerning eye on things he did.. because he earned that, in part. In part it's partially political theater.

It happens in absolutely every opposition party issue. R's do it to D's, D's do it to R's. Just be honest here.

3) I disagree that gifts can only come from the Left. Trump supported a 2K direct payment. The left passed legislation to make it a reality, the Right struck that down.

The Left wanted to work with Trump to repair the ACA, which now has majority approval ratings (although the plans aren't great), Trump's party had the majority to overturn it. Enough of his own party said no because there was no plan to replace it.

As for red meat.. No one ever says that's is definitively linked to red meat consumption. Cancer is still really a mystery except for statistical contributing factors.

Yep people are going to spin certain points to their perspective.. The Right does it just as much...

Red meat also contributes to heart disease and DM too at higher intake levels.

Frankly, and this might be me being naive, but I expect that people are smart enough to see through spin and form their own opinions based on their own objective research...

What I don't like, and what I think is really a detriment to all of us, is this constant blame game.

I didn't like Trump. I think he did a lot of crappy stuff.. However, what sets me off is this constant shift that all right or all left people do this OR even the majority do this or that...

That's not true and ultimately causes where we are as a country.

The left fought it first it almost didnt happen then they asked for all the crazy additions to the bill in fact they got much of what they asked

Yes it may happen on both sides to some extent but you have to admit no one has been gone after as much and as intensely as Trump before he even took office they began

It has def been taken to a new level
