Big Cancer Policies ?

It's never been my understanding that it would pay a 2nd time on cancer if it paid the full amount the 1st time. I could be wrong though. I've never had it pay the first time so not an issue for me personally at this point.

I also have an Aetna version. I've sold more of the Aetna so I always like to own what I sell.
Assurity is one payment per "category" so their current product won't pay on the recurrence of the same or related health event but can pay up to 3 times depending on the health conditions.

I understand that they're redesigning their current plan to make it stronger so we'll see what that looks like sometime next year.

By the way, earlier this year they quit referring to the company as “Liberty Bankers Life”, and now use “Liberty Bankers Insurance Group” or LBIG due to their diversication of lines (Life, Supplemental health, Medicare, Preneed, and annuities).
I haven't noticed that. I just ordered some new life supplies and this is what I'm seeing. Also on FexQuotes.

Yes, it’s Mark Headrick. He’s developed both cancer and critical illness products for LBL. I’m licensed to sell them, but haven’t really had a chance to study them. I signed up hoping I could use them for debit clients, but they don’t even allow a monthly direct bill. Since debit is my current focus, I’m afraid these products went “back burner” for me. But for anybody actively selling cancer/CI, they appear to be good lump sum benefit products.

Please clarify what you mean by debit clients?
I mostly sell specialty so this is a slam dunk for me. 10% renewals? Unheard of.

Cigna has one that goes to $100k. Also can be a price buster with their unisex rates.
p.s.- Cigna just raised their Plan N med supp comp to 26%. I guess they really want to push Plan N.

So, Cigna/s P.C. Unisex = Gender Neutral.

Seems like all companies aree upping their Plan N commissions. I'm seeing a lot of 27%'ers.

Debit, otherwise known as “Home Service” insurance is a system whereby the agent collects premiums directly from the insured in their home or workplace. Many companies, including some of the largest, started out with that system until a system was created to pay monthly premiums by automatic draft. But there are areas where a significant number of people either don’t have bank accounts, or don’t manage them well, or just don’t like auto drafts and prefer to pay the agent directly. LBL (or LBIG, like I just mentioned) has a Home Service division for clients like that, and for agents who enjoy that distribution system. (BTW, us debit agents laugh derisively at your 10% renewals. Chump change!:1laugh:)

People actually mailed in their premiums before bank drafts. Yep, I remember Metropolitan and Prudential used to have debit routes.

LBIG sounds gay. Makes me think of LGBT.

FEX Quotes still has the old logo, which is fine since both of those are still companies within the “Group”. But when I go to the website, I see this:

On the company trip this year, they gave us jackets with the new logo.

Yep. Cigna figured with all the "self-identifying" going on these days and with them being so big and all, it was just easier.
