The truth in this industry, is that the AGENT is taking on the risk, NOT the company. And it's funny that the company (who isn't taking on the risk) "interviews" you... to see if you have a list of 200 people that you can refer in to the agency to buy a policy.

You're a cog in THEIR wheel to help that agency meet their goals in their 'way'. It's not about you at all. If you can't make it, they'll just recruit somebody else... which is why the training is so little, because they rely on your own desperation and lack of marketing skills to bring in the people you know so you'll earn a check.

Unless you know how to interview THEM and seek out your own training to build your survival skills on your own.
