Does anyone know what every happened to Consumer Concepts Agency? They had a neat thing call Equity Creator program. It looks like they morphed that into a Church finacial seminar program series - but I saw nothing on there producer links etc.

I emailed Steve Barfield - maybe he can shed some light on what happened - if they are still doing both or what.

Steve moved the agency from Powers Ferry Rd to somewhere west a few years ago. Douglasville maybe?

He was always a far right Christian. Good guy but, IMO, in over his head with his Equity Creator program.

As I recall he worked in a warehouse or drove a truck before hooking up with Hubert Humphrey's World Financial.

Consumer Concepts was very much an MLM kind of operation with a big push for recruiting.

They still have a website. Can't say if it is current or not.

Thanks for the reply. I did hear from him today. I vaguely remember that it was more MLM like. You are right about the website - most of it was based in 2003/2004.

Steve Barfield did most of his EC refi's through Taylor, Bean & Whitaker. Wonder how this has affected his business?

DIdn't he play professional football also??

I know him, but it seems like he was always showing us some big ring he always had on...

His program was a great rich fast program that talked clients into pulling the money out of their homes and doing something else with it.

Can't say.

He was a truck driver before getting in with Hubert Humphrey (financial MLM, not the VP) crowd. Left HH and started Consumer Concepts.

Big dreamer.
