Where the boat is moored is the correct way. I just experienced this with a 4 wheeler. My insured lives in Georgia but they also have a home in Florida and wanted me to insure their 4 wheeler. Since the 4 wheeler will be kept in Florida all the companies said it needs to be insured in Florida.
