There are no "must haves". Do you want to read books or do you want to sell insurance?

Probably doesn't hurt to read some of the 1000's of books from people that don't sell but none that one would have to read.

Lol, my opinion, you can't read a bad sales book if its motivating.

Advanced Selling Techniques is a all-around solid choice by Brian Tracy.

There are others. But nothing beats field experience.

Can't ever go wrong reading the King James Bible. It does talk a lot about good business practices, among other things. Especially the book of Proverbs. I read, out loud, one chapter from Proverbs every day, along with my other daily reading from the Scriptures.

I read half a book from Zigler one time and he recommended that.

I totally agree and love the KJV. However, I was raised on it. My advice is read whatever version you can understand.
