Breasts and Health Reform

I can "C" why the "D's" are going to be in real trouble.

The first thing Jacqueline said is "Obviously the guys must be the one's coming up with that proposal. I didn't hear any mention of PSA tests for men." She has a point.

Oh I don't know. The government is increasingly encouraging "watchful waiting" now as the preferred means of "treatment for prostate cancer." It started as the recommendation for men in their 90's and now it is down to about age 70. You can see where this is headed.

Also the person in charge is a woman, Katherine Sebelius. That is who the panel makes recommendations to so that is her job to review it. (dealth panels anyone?)

Having said that, the expenditure of health dollars on women far, far exceeds that on men in this country so all should be prepared for women to feel the impact of "cost savings" I will leave it to Mr. Obama, Ms. Sebelius and the death panels to decide what is a savings versus "best practice based on outcomes."

That was meant to be kind of tongue in cheek.

Alright. Well all this talk about tongues, cheeks, breasts, and Sarah Palin on this forum is only contributing to global warming. I suppose we could throw goats in to.

Some how I don't think that for most people goats would fit in that equation. All the rest sound pretty good when all put together.

BTW Frank, Philadelphia is testing the use of goats to do the mowing at the Bartram Botonical Gardens. A women in rural Chester County has two castrated Angora goats that are being used in the project. They are doing such a great job that it appears they will be hired.

Why did I bother to read this thread?

I should have known by the thread title that this thread would degenerate pretty quickly.

I guess I was a boob for clicking on it.

You are in arrears on this discussion about breasts.
