If you're not familiar with it, as a result of SB 263, new updated CE requirements are required before soliciting business in California.

They finally got a couple of choices available to meet the 2025 Annuity 4-hour training requirements. (That Golden Hyde school didn't have an online option and appeared to be rather expensive.)

I went with the Noble CE course.

This was the first question:

I saw nothing that made it seem any different from any previous annuity CE courses I've ever taken before.

Damn regulators think they're making a difference and they're just re-hashing the same crap, different day.

I probably take 8 hours of CE each renewal anyway. I haven't looked at the outline but I'm sure its more of the same.

I just took it and passed it. One disadvantage with LyteSpeed is they don't allow the PDF to be open while you do your CE. Some of the terminology was a little off in the questions, but I still passed it.

If the world trusted insurance agents to "always do the right thing" and all agents actually did that, we wouldn't have these requirements. What we need is a simple checklist under which you could file a record of what you did for that checkmark. Complete the list and you're good. It doesn't need to be more complex than that. With blockchain, there's a permanent record of when each item was completed for a client.
