Cancellation of Current Medicare Supplement Policy

Verify approval, premium and eff date of new policy.

If paranoid, Have old policy send a bill in mail. Cancel bank draft. Use 30 day grace period and don't pay the bill. It will term for non payment.

Once the approval is done and I rarely do it with less than 6 weeks to go, because of crossover.

And I never, ever cancel policies. The client knows to cancel AFTER we get the approval and to get a reference number for the cancellation and email it to us. And never before the 1st of the month of the cancellation date.
