Care Improvement Plus Info

I did a dozen or so a couple years ago. I moved them all in the next AEP/OEP. Nobody had any real problems with them, but the rates have went up every year and now are higher than Med Sups. I hope your clients are in the 12 month window to return to Med Sups without underwriting.

I have a company that will take anyone, anytime, anywhere in the state of Missouri if they want to leave a MA. It's their part to fight MA competition. I make sure the clients know that it's not required, but the company is doing this for the benefit of the client.

And NO... I will not disclose the company. I've been told to keep it hush hush.

We don't care who the client is, who is the company, or do we have to break into the Watergate and steal the files? ;)

My guess is also one of the MoO companies too. I am running MA's back to them with no probs so far.

I have a problem with the 'I have a secret' posts... Unless you name names and share it is just BS. ;)

This is no big deal... Blue Cross Blue Shield in Missouri will take anyone.

I'm sorry... I didn't mean to come across as an ass. Sounds like there are other companies with the same policy from some of the other post. The company I was talking about was not mentioned.

Have a great Monday.

You didn't, I was asking a probing question? If you care to share it with a fellow Missouri agent privately, PM me. Currently I can get most MA's thru MoO, but I am always interested in other companies that may be good for my clients.

Does M.O do it on a GI basis? It seems I called them before and was told it's only GI if the other sup they left to join the MA is not longer available. I have used other carriers when the client can pass U/W, but most of the folks I know on CIP are not able to pass the most liberal underwriting sans AARP.

MoO is curently accepting all MA's returning to Med Sups, but their public policy is as you state in your post. I was told this by underwriting, that they are currently accepting MA's returning back to Med Sups from any company.

The reason their premiums are high is because they cover drugs thru the donut hole. All tiers. But i think SNP requirements will be tougher this year.
