Hi, this is my first post and I apologize in advance for any etiquette violations . I am currently in the auto sales industry and really want a career change. I have no insurance experience but I am good with people. A co-worker recently started selling Final Expense down south and has done pretty well at it. I live in central Ohio and am willing to travel some. Can anyone recommend a company that has a program in my area that offers some training, a good lead program, and a fair pay plan? Thank you for any help, Kempho

Talk to some of the people on this forum who are in Ohio. Outside of Ohio I understand Hoosier Daddy is a great help.

I suggest you read some of what VaDwayne has posted. He was also in auto sales and is relatively new to insurance. I believe he has been licensed since March.

If you would like to give me a call I don't think he would mind if I gave you his phone number. He has done what you are thinking of doing.

Dwayne can give you a good insight into what he experienced when moving from auto sales to becoming a professional insurance agent. He is doing quite well with insurance now.

Companies that offer "some training, a good lead program, and a fair pay plan" pretty much don't exist.
