Carrier that Will Approve Anyone?

It's only been 5 years since I last sold anything for UA and it was not a branch office. I also had a hell of tim e with them stealing commissions and still do.

One of hundreds of agents that had/have that problem with them to this day.

You can pump that sunshine all you want. The deck is stacked against you.

I guarantee you were a sub agent under a ga, and HE/SHE worked out the agreement with you. So your GA is not paying you, not UA. If this isnt the case i will be happy to look into it for you. Another thing agents dont realize is we have renewals for the life of the business, but if your annual renewals are below $500, we dont cut the check until your renewals add up to that amount.

No, I was not a sub agent. I was paid directly by UA and dealt with directly with UA about the stealing of commissions. They were claiming I had chargeback from 2006 and 2007 and the people still had their plans. They did the same thing with everyone in that office including the manager. he got an attorney and they fired him.

There have been countless threads here at the forum about UA doing this to agent all across the country.

How much for a plan F in Utah for a 65 yr old female non-smoker. I looked in CSG but your rates were nowhere to be found.

I've read through all the responses and had a hard time gathering a conclusive answer.

It seems that everyone is saying that there isn't a perfect carrier for all issues.

In my 20 year career, I have focused on getting people approved for immediate coverage, at the lowest price. This is going to be your bread and butter. Not the sick clients.

Sick clients are often sick from poor choices in life. Poor diet. No Exercise. No financial security etc. Therefore, I found out that they are not really worth your time and energy (they treat their insurance policies the same way they treat their body. They don't pay up and end up broke/sick).

I mean I do carry a guaranteed Issue company in my bag for those occasions but I normally assume that the policy will not make me much money - rather a charge back. Most seniors you are going to face are going to be healthy-ish. Focus on them.

That is my opinion.

Anyone know of carriers with Low production requirements? Im with Oxford and soon Americo. RNA seems to be a really good company but has production requirements I cant meet at the moment doing this part-time. I dont want the pressure of high production requirements.

Also, who is the best fe carrier for Diabetics?

Hmm, the good old United American. They stopped sending me renewals a while ago since I only wrote a couple applications. Not a good thing.

msurrano, I use to send UA much of my fe business, then you guys took a rate increase a few years ago. I can't use UA. For example:
Male Age 70 15,000. NT your rate is non existent. All UA will issue on age 70 is 5,000. for 61.72 per month.

Female Age 70 NT your max issue is 10,000. for 89.07. Smoker rates are out-of-this-WORLD.

I wish you could help me. I love the life time commissions. I can't choke the prices and the sub standard.

With UA an agent can't write Male-NT over age 76. Can't write Tobacco over age 70.

Get your prices in line, I'll come back home.:biggrin:
