ALL of my MAPD carriers are considering significant reductions in AEP meetings--up to half
My partner and I do VERY well with meetings and have been among the highest producers in the multi state region
One of the carriers told us they get thousands of enrollments on the phone--but those people have a high rate of change to another carrier during AEP, often going back to their previous carrier. With agent meetings, the enrollment rate per dollar spent is higher, but changes are nil So hard to understand their motivation
Not sure what this means yet and what we will do--but thought I would sound the gong and see what others are thinking/planning
