CBO Reportedly Underestimated Healthcare Overhaul Cost By $50 Bil

Re: CBO Reportedly Underestimated Healthcare Overhaul Cost By $50

If you only calculate the employee and not the family that is a huge difference.

There is no way if this law stays on the books the federal gov will be able to fund it.

I really think we could see the entire health care system in this country implode. Maybe that is what needs to happen.

IMO,
That's what Obama wants to happen. That's why Sebelius keeps dreaming up new mandates to impose on health insurers that weren't in the original legislation (birth control, feeding on breasts, etc.).

In Obama's speeches and interviews from his pre-presidential days, dating back to 2001, he mentions how "Government Healthcare for All" is his goal. Destroying private insurance companies is the back-door method for achieving universal coverage. Look for some major tax-increases, or new taxes like the Value Added Tax, in preparation for that day.

IMPLOSION IS THE ULTIMATE GOAL.

One day, the Obama-tapes (conveniently stored on some iPod somewhere in a dark basement) will prove us correct.

They never meant for Obamacare to work - they only wanted to use is as a tool to get what they wanted: SINGLE PAYER

Another racquet in the bill is LTC. It will get off the ground next year and 5 years of premiums will be collected before any benefits are paid out. This is one of the factors that helped lawmakers say it saved 81 billion over 10 years. Then savings diminish and costs mount.
