he State of Georgia has mandated the rules for taking this course and/or exam. In particular:

• You must pass the final exam with a score of 70 percent or greater.
• Exam Proctor Requirements: Exam Requirements: Self-Study exams are closed-book and must be monitored by a disinterested 3rd party. Monitors shall NOT serve for examinations of family members or relatives or dependents, employers or supervisors, employees or subordinates, partners or joint ventures or co-owners, or for anyone in whom the monitor or instructor has an economic or other interest in assuring the successful outcome of the examination.

Same in Nevada. I just use my neighbor.

• Self-Study Exam Proctor Requirements Waived For Insurance Professionals
  • AL Department of Insurance has waived the self-study CE exam proctoring requirement until the end of August. Bulletin 2020-15.
  • AZ Department of Insurance has issued an executive order saying insurance producers do not need to have post-course examinations proctored. Read more.
  • CO Division of Insurance is waiving the proctor requirement for self-study CE exam until further notice. Emergency Regulation 20-E-04.
  • IA Insurance Licensing Division will be waiving the proctor requirements for self-study CE exams until the end of August 2020. The 18 classroom credits have also been waived. Producers will need 36 credits with 3 of them being ethics.
  • MS Department of Insurance has waived the proctor requirements for self-study CE and exam prep exams until October 31st.
  • MA Division of Insurance has waived the proctor requirements for self-study CE exams until further notice. Bulletin 2020-12.
  • MI Department of Insurance and Financial Services will allow CE Providers to accept self-attestation of the completion of CE final exams for online self-study CE courses until further notice.
  • NE Department of Insurance has extended the waiver of the proctor requirements for self-study CE exams until September 30. Notice: Date Extended for Nebraska to Waive Proctor Requirements
  • NY State Department of Financial Services has waived the requirement to have an approved monitor present when taking a self-study CE or PLE (pre-license exam prep) course final exam until Nov. 5th. Supplement No. 3 to Insurance Circular Letter No. 9 (2020)
  • NV Division of Insurance is waiving the proctor requirement for self-study CE exam until further notice.
  • PA Insurance Department has waived the proctor requirement for self-study CE and PLE until further notice.
  • SC Department of Insurance is waiving the proctor requirement for self-study CE exam until further notice.
  • VT Department of Insurance is waiving the proctoring requirement for self-study CE exams until further notice.
  • WI Department of Insurance is allowing agents to complete online courses without having a physical proctor present for CE and PLE until the state of emergency has been lifted. Agents will be required to complete a CE Attestation of Personal Responsibility Form which will need to be submitted to the provider before they receive credit.
