Cigna may exit

While its merger with Humana may have fallen through for now, Cigna is attracting plenty of interest for the rumored sale of its Medicare Advantage business, Bloomberg reported.

Sources close to the matter told the outlet that Health Care Service Corp. and Elevance Health are "competing" to scoop up the MA segment. Cigna is expecting that the final bids will be submitted next week, according to the report.

Mutual of Omaha has great ratings with AM Best. I write a lot of their plan G med-supp. Love the company. I have an annuity with them.

I was just speaking to PDP.

I might contract for supp.

I generally do HAP or Aetna for that though best fit for what I have in Michigan. I personally prefer HAP just for their customer service. It's top notch. But a michigan carrier none the less.

And could you say why you would say neither if her meds only fit there in one of those two.

Because I can't stand either company. If someone wants a PDP with a company I don't offer, I'll give them the phone # and they can call them.
