Clawback question??

client claimed to make 13k for 2018 but ended up making only 10k due to going back to school. Now her cpa says she owes $3500 as she didn't qualify for help..she's in Florida. does she somehow qualify for an exemption ? Thank you for any help

Yes. Irs Came out with rule that if u end up below 100% fpl after initially reporting above, no clawback. Google it. 1st time apologize, second time, well?

Awesome ty. Just odd that their CPA didn't mention this. Is there some sort of form to submit? I can't find it anywhere.
