$50 a month for their non-captive cluster. I use them for the appointments I don't think I will write very much with (I.e. Progressive) and/ or carriers who have stopped appointing in my area. (MetLife home & Auto)

I have been licensed approximately a year I just tried agent secure they looked the best they won't take me they said I need more experience not sure why. Progressive basically said the same thing. Now my next problem is finding a group that write gas station convenience store policies or I could bor the current on but have no access to Utica national. This is really a buddy buddy line of business either they like you and you can write or your hung out to dry

Welcome to the world of P&C. In life and health, appointments are pretty much there for the asking. Not in P&C, especially in some areas. They want to see what kind of business you write first and what your loss ratios and persistency are.

I'm curious though, what part of the country are you in? Progressive used to be pretty easy to get, but I've heard they have really been tightening up in a lot of areas.

If your people skills are anything like your writing skills...I could understand how you're having problems. If you have an in w/ gas stations & convenience stores...I would imagine you may be Indian. While Indian's are some of the brightest doctors & wealthiest business owners....they tend to be practical idiots.

If my suspicions are correct...you most likely presented an entirely unpractical business plan & a company rep ran as fast as he could. If not...then you're the 1 out of 1,000,000 who can't get progressive.

You make me laugh with your ignorance. I am white from Long Island New York my father has done insurance over 30 years. We service over 12 million is employee benefits. They said I need proven expirence I do appreciate helpful advice not ignorant comments. Thanks
