Cluster With Progressive

If you can't get appointed with progressive, why not talk to your state big I? They have both a market access and sub code program with progressive, travelers, met, and Hartford. Not the best comp compared to most clusters, but they are friendly, reasonably quick when you don't have binding authority yet, and no non compete or buyout. They have some commercial markets too but I dare say you'd need more than what they can provide. Superior access and insurance noodle have a fair number of commercial markets, but if I were you I'd look for an mga or two to contract with who serve your target market. There is no shortage of those.

Is progressive really that competitive in your area? I've got them but I really have nearly no use for them any more. Kind of one of those situations where I give them a pity app whenever possible just to keep the appointment. After all, never know when things might turn around and they become useful/competitive again.

Why did you feel the need to say you are "white"

I said I was white because insurance 1822 made a preduice / racial profiling statement saying he assumes I'm Indian because I write gas stations and convenience stores. I said he's wrong are you kidding me

stop pulling the race card & when you're done crying..

1.) Please be specific on exactly what you presented to Progressive & what they said to you.

2.) Describe your P&C experience

3.) Do you have any friends or family (that speak english..) that have experience?

I have about 1 year in April I have written over 150k in premium w/ multiple lines. I filled out the online application we spoke briefly that was it she to put a business plan together and get back to her in a year I won't close you out. My father had done P and C years ago he is only doing life and health not sure why there such a pain I'm stuck writing business at 50% right now it's terrible

Progressive was the only initial appointment I wasn't sure if I'd get or not. I was appointed with them through another agency, but not sure if my production during that time was enough to warrant an appointment for my own agency.

I gave them some bs about wanting to cobrand my agency with progressive, how impressive it was that I could leverage their discounts to win more business, etc. and how important they would be for the growth of my agency. Kind of reminds me of faking my way through essays at high school. Seemed to work, though.
