I didn't think you could register as a libertarian in LA and was under the impression that the only choices were Democrat, Republican and Independent.

You can register Libertarian (it says it on my new card) you just can't run for elective office under anything but democrat, republican or independent. I really believe that dumbass law would make our forefathers sick at their stomachs.

I understand where you are coming from. The republican party is not what it used to be.....
