COBRA

Thanks, the site is the result of many versions and revisions and trial and error. I do it all myself so that I can control the content and make updates at my convenience.

I am glad I found this forum, there are too few health insurance forums online and much good information doesn't get passed on to those who need it.

What software do you use to alter your website?

Al,
I only use Firefox, and it looks fine to me, I don't see any problems.

I see this.... some overlapping text.

I used to use a program called Trellix, but have recently switched to one called Blue Voda. For more functional and best of all, it's free!

This is going to be dumb question, but when you are on COBRA, are still being covered by the same insurance that you had with your (former) employer?

Thanks!

COBRA is coverage under the employer's group plan. However, the COBRA beneficiary is charged the premium that would normally paid by the employer and the employer can add an additional surcharge of up yo 2% (I am not certain that the percentage has not been changed recently). This surcharge is I assume yo cover the expense of administering the COBRA plan.
