Commercial prospecting: Staying in Mind

A simple hand written thank you card goes a long way here. I wouldnt send one to everyone just the gold nuggets.

If your collecting x-dates make sure you ask how long they have been with their broker. If they have been with their broker 10+ year or the agent is family I wouldnt bother. Find out the incumbent carrier so you dont waste time quoting against carriers you cant compete with. Qualify qualify qualify. It will save you soo much effort down the line.

As much as we are rockstars and sell mid term. Majority of buying decisions happen right before the expiration.
