Comparative Rater Question....

FSC basically matched what I was paying with Ezlynx because I ended up transitioning agency management systems to AMS360 at the same time. Vertafore products are expensive but their functionality is better than anything else I have found and I think even expensive software is better than extra payroll because you are slowing your employees down with clunky systems.

What do you do, when all of your companies you sell for, aren't on FSC and EZlynx ? Some of my carriers are Real Time, others are Direct Rate.... This is how, it is on Quomation.

I'm sure these Products are more expensive than Quomation. Do they actually help the bottom line, with the price difference?

I think you sell on the non-standard market and most rater do not quote non-standard. Quomation is a rip off company. They took $278 from me be aware!

Good Point... Raters are heavily based on what carriers you represent. EZLynx is for Standard Carriers Mainly

I use Semcat. We like it, Ezlynx isn't accurate on the front end and we feel like it is clunky. Semcat is only like $100 a month or something like that per login.

Quomation

I also have quomation and also their rater and I have had multiple issues with bridging, IVANS, VIN transferring properly in quote, restraint types and many more. Duplicate work that I have to do once I get into the quote. In addition it takes them long time to get new VINs in and make updates. Their tech support is reachable and they have a nice team but the product is lacking. It has helped me in year one of my agency but I have seen the light and need to find something new. I need a rater and a crm. Any recommendations. I have heard Hawksoft is good and works well with FSC.
