Considering Insurance Part Time?

You can do it part time, but you should make those 2-3 days a work priority if you want to make money consistently. Working 2-3 days you should work them hard or you're really just dabbling and your supplemental income won't be "supplementing" very much.

Compared to most agents, if he works 2-3 full days really hard he is going to be putting "over time". :D

most people start part time. then he may have to make a choice, his full time boss may not like the idea, of him selling ins. of course if he has an in with doctors, DI to doctors, would be a very good product to sell.

Totally agreed. You can start part-time. But at some point, you will have to make a decision. Either you will need to work over time to keep both business working or one of them will die. Part time is good for testing things out but never worked long term.

My 2 cents.

Take this with a grain of salt, but when I got into the insurance business, my father told me to jump in with both feet or don't do it at all. I know it may be tough to do if you have a family to support but that is where you will need to look into different companies offering some sort of weekly pay until you get your legs under you.
