Convert annuity to life case tip

part of what you have to learn is "alot" is not a word

You are very correct, I did not know that we were grammatically critiqued on this forum.

I should have used " a great deal", but just remember when you put yourself on a pedestal, people will hold you to a higher standard.

With that being said your sentence is a fragment, therefore it too is grammatically incorrect.

English 101 there healthagent is that you, being a generic pronoun representing the author, never start a sentence with a preposition. A correct start to a sentence would include a predicate nominative, noun, or possibly an adverb.

It is also appropriate to keep the sentence in the same tense; such as past, present or future. In your sentence you used the word "have" which indicates the present. However, the next preposition "to learn" indicates the future, or to learn in the future.

To quote an earlier post of mine: "When a person thinks they are smarter than everyone else; they shut their mind off from learning," We do not want that to happen, now do we?

Oh, just in case you did not catch the sarcasm, that last question is rhetorical!

Look it up and get back to me!

The most interesting thing about dealing with each other on forums is the lack of visual and oral clues during a conversation.

I say at lunch "You're a jerk" and I am laughing at the time, then clearly it was a joke. If I see by your facial expression that you did not take it as a joke, then I can do some immediate damage control.

This can't be done on a forum, so the probability of misunderstanding the intent of a statement, any statement, is much higher when you don't have clues on how your statement is being taken.

Some of the folks I have had the hottest conversations with here have turned out to be some of my favorite people.

I would have to agree. I find that you respect the opinion more of a person who is hyper-critical; providing their hyper-crticism is factual. Good point!
